VALUPOINT: Friends Don't Let Friends Pay Retail.

Ooh La La = Rue La La

So we did it.

After several weeks of watching the deals flow by on the members-only sample sale site -- Ruelala.com -- we bought something before it sold out.
 And it felt good.

If you've never heard of RueLaLa, basically there's tons of brands you've heard of that go on massive sale.

The big problem is that if you're not quick to pull the trigger and buy the item on the spot, most likely the item will be SOLD OUT before you come back.  That's the beauty of the site, but it also makes you understand that when your guy recognizes a deal, you should go for it -- tons of other people certainly are!

How to access real private sales on the internet

Shopping sites are popping up left and right claiming discounts, etc.

But most of them aren't "REAL" deals.  They are just aggressive promotions.

There's one site that's aiming to make the claim real.  RueLaLa.com is a private, membership only shopping site.  They set-up 2-day countdown "boutiques" from various high end sellers at steep discounts (Vera Wang stuff for $149 recently).  Most of the items sell out within the 2 days.

How to get an invitation to the exclusive shopping club?

It's free to join, and once you get in, you'll gain access to the new boutiques they set-up for each merchant on a consistent basis.

For anyone that is a shopaholic, this is a must-try site.
