Legoland is one of the better known amusement parks in the Southern California - San Diego area. Any kid on this planet knows what Legos are and their imaginations can just run wild thinking about spending a couple of days at LEGOLAND!
We are currently on vacation and have been to Legoland the last 2 days of our trip. But of course, there's got to be a way to get in the gates for less than $212/day for a family of 4!
REGULAR ADMISSION TICKET PRICING FOR LEGOLAND CALIFORNIA
ADULT 1 Day Admission: $57 2 Day=$69
CHILD 1 Day Admission: $44 2 Day=$56
(Parking $10/day)
Before we left for our trip we found an unbelievable exclusive discount to the theme park for both adults and kids. And it was available from the place that we always think of for getting cheap prices, but just not for things like tickets usually -- COSTCO!
Yes, that's right, if you go to the online site, and do a search for "legoland", you'll find discounted tickets available for 1-day tickets. But the real treasure is an exclusive online discount to the Legoland California amusement park -- for LESS than the price of a regular 1-day admission ticket, you can get a 3-month unlimited season pass! Which means two things:
- Even if you go for just 1 day, this discount will save you money!
- You can go to Legoland as many times as you want on your vacation without thinking about cost! Try it for 1 day, and if you like it, go back!
LEGOLAND DISCOUNT - 3 MONTH UNLIMITED PASS
ADULT 3-month Season Pass = $48.49
CHILD 3-month Season Pass = $38.99

Although 2 days was more than enough for our kids, this deal is must-buy for any visit to Legoland.
The Legoland park map looks like a huge park with a gazillion things to do at first glance, but after studying the map a little more after you start to stroll the park, it's not a huge amusement park. You'll find a couple of decent rides for most kids, and some very cool Lego creations like a mini-Las Vegas, New York City, dragons, Egyptian tomb, etc.
To be totally frank, our 3 year old said during the 2nd day that Hershey Park was much better and he wanted to go there that same day. But for most kids it's a decent alternative to Disney or the San Diego Zoo for Southern CA.
FYI, Volvo is a huge sponsor of Legoland (your kids can drive Volvo Legocars inside the park) -- but a neat sponsorship opportunity is seen where "Preferred Parking Spots" are available only for Volvo vehicles -- so if you have a Volvo, you won't be walking much from the parking lot.
