Staples 10% Off Printable Coupon

Staples offers printable coupons from time to time. Usually they are 12% off, intended for their best customers.

This time around the pumpkins have taken up 2% worth of space I guess since it's only 10% off for this printable coupon for Staples. . .

At least they are appreciating their customers this Fall! This printable coupon is good till October 25th.

We'll use it to get some Sharpie markers to draw the faces for our pumpkins, which we've found much safer than giving our toddlers a knife each year!

Free e-Cards

It's always *someone's* birthday...

Or anniversary...

Or it's a holiday...

Or a special event...

And sometimes, you just want to drop a note to someone. While an email is too impersonal, an e-card is just the right thing.

These days, many e-greeting card sites are going the way of paid services.

Here's one that's familiar already, but I bet you didn't know you could send FREE e-Cards through them....good old Amazon has Free e-Cards:

Of course you can attach an Amazon.com e-gift-certificate, but it's not required at all - and you still get all the bells and whistles:

  • There are various collections of art, photography and other themes to use as the graphic
  • You can schedule the e-card to be delivered in the future
  • There is a feature to "attach audio" so you can even record a voice note to go with the ecard
  • You have the option to send a universal amazon gift-card with it of any amount
  • It's FREE!

What other free e-card sites do you use or know about?

3 minutes of your time, 1% chance of $200

Here's a neat deal where multiple people won $500 last year for just 3 minutes of filling out forms.

Just fill out this form 5 times today and you'll have a 1% chance of winning $200.

This is a Chase Debit card promo for $500 free for every 500th debit transaction, but this online form is the alternative way to enter -- and with the same odds, 1 in 500 win. but only $200 for online entries. Why 5 times? The fine print limits you to 5 entries per day, and only 10 entries per week. Still not bad.

Fill it out at least once. It's a legit contest and they are giving away multiple prizes throughout this next month or so.

Kind of like lather, rinse...repeat. lather, rinse, repeat...

How To Steal The Show

One thing that most people are excited about, but have 2nd thoughts as it comes to reality is participating in a wedding.

If you're the best man, maid of honor, father of the bride or mother of the bride, it's a very very happy occasion, right?

BUT....it also means that you'll be put on the spot with the microphone and asked to give a memorable, funny, heart-warming, meaningful, elegant, sincere speech. WOAH. That's a mouthful.

And the last thing that you want is your foot in your mouth when you get up to deliver that speech.

What to do?

GET SOME HELP.

Little do people know that there's an art to giving these speeches. The genre of wedding speeches is a place where if you tackle it properly, you can completely shine and make the couple's wedding super special.

This is your chance:
  • Maid of honor speeches: Your Complete 'How to' Guide!
  • Best man speeches: Be Fearless, Funny and Flawless!
  • Father of the bride speeches: How to be Witty and Well Prepared!
  • Bride speeches: Beautiful Words for a Beautiful Occasion!
  • Groom Speeches: Say the Right Words at the Right Time!
  • Mother of the bride speeches: Words of Love!

WHERE'S THE HELP? There are several online resources where you can immediately download and review dozens and dozens of sample speeches. They cover the gamut of personalities and situations.

While you can waste your time Googling for wedding speeches, there are packages of speeches all pre-bundled together.

Plus, these packages list 100's of jokes and toasts for you to have in your back-pocket to make you look casual, comfortable and spontaneous. There are wedding MC jokebooks that are general, and some that are specific to be used by the Best Man, etc. although most wedding speech books includes samples of wedding jokes and toasts too.

I think the books on how to write creative and meaningful wedding vows are popular and well-known, but these wedding speech books and resources aren't as well known.
