It's finally time to look ahead and get ready for the New Year. 2008 is right around the corner.
The problem is that I don't have a 2008 calendar in the house expect for an ugly ad-covered one that's temporarily hanging on the wall.
One of the best photo projects I made last year from Shutterfly was a photo calendar. The quality was amazing and the photos were vivid.
You only need 12 photos to create a calendar and so all I do is go back and pick one photo from each month of this past year. For example, for January 2008, I'll pick a photo from January 2007 of the kids skiing. For August 2008, I'll pick a photo of the kids in the pool or on a trip to the beach. That way each month has a "topical" photo that's appropriate for the season. Easy enough, right?
Kodak Gallery (formerly Ofoto) is having a 20% off sale on photo calendars right now.If you're on vacation have some time, you might also be interested in creating some photo gifts or books for a year in review. Believe me, you'll be glad you did once your photo keepsake arrives. And I guarantee that guests that come over to your home and see it will ooooh and ahhhh over it each time.
